John Ingle Obituary
John William Ingle, born on May 2, 1931 in San Antonio, Texas was called home to be with Jesus on December 23, 2018 at the age of 87. J, as he was known among family and friends, was preceded in death by his parents David Richard Ingle and Josephine Trevino Ingle. J is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Kathy Tom Ingle, Sons John and Joe; daughter-in-law, Beverly; granddaughters, Anna, Katie, Evelyn and Victoria; sisters, Dorothy Kissling and Edith Brown; numerous nieces, nephews, friends and former students. A very creative person, J taught a variety of art classes first in Flagstaff, Arizona and then in San Antonio, Texas at San Antonio College. He is best known among his former students for his talents in lapidary and jewelry design. He loved bowling, hunting and a good joke. Services were held in December at St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church, with interment at Campbellton Cemetery in Campbellton, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the Parkinson's Foundation at http://www.parkinson.org. You can leave condolences at www.missionparks.com .

I am heartbroken to learn of Mr. Ingle's passing. I regret not keeping in better touch. My entire family and I loved him dearly. He was my sponsor at San Antonio College in the late 80's when I was Art Guild President, and we exchanged such terrible, lame dad-jokes that I took classes with him just to continue hearing his jokes. I cannot think of him without smiling. My prayers to Mrs. Ingle, John, and Joe. All my love, Dee Dee

So sorry to hear of J's passing. He had taught SAC students to do lapidary, art metals, and jewelry repair. I saw many beautiful stones and jewelry his students made under his direction. Peace and Grace.
