Lloyd Mair Obituary

Lloyd Fred "Tooter" Mair beloved husband, father and grandfather went to be with the Lord on April 30, 2007 at the age of 79 years. He was born on June 15, 1927 to Matthew and Hedwig Mair in Elmendorf, Texas. He served in the U.S. Navy during W.W.II. Tooter worked as an equipment supervisor for the Texas Department of Transportation retiring after 42 years of dedicated service. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, 4 sisters and a step grandson. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ora Lee Mair; children, Katherine Mair, Shirley Scogin and husband, Tony, Lloyd Mair, Jr. and wife Bonnie; grandchildren, Traci Bielefeld and husband, Jeff, Derrick Scogin and wife Chrissy, Brittany Mair, Katie Mair, Hollie Mair, great -grandchildren, Chelsey Bielefeld, Brynden Bielefeld and Shelby Bielefeld; sister, Alvina Margaret Brooks. His best dog friend, Sandy and numerous nieces, nephews and host of dear friends. Services Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 PM today, Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM, Wednesday May 2, 2007 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North with interment to follow at Mission Burial Park North. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association in his memory or to the charity of your choice.
