Maria Cadena Obituary

September 16, 1946 - August 4, 2017
Maria del Rosario Cadena, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 4, 2017, at the age of 70. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. She was born on September 16, 1946 in San Antonio, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents David and Jovita Alfrido and her younger brother David Jr. and sister Delia Zavala. She is survived by her life partner Raul E. Delgado, children Beatrice, Rosario, Perla, Katherine, Raul and Felipe, sisters Janie Gallegos and Carmen Carrera as well as 18 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. "Chatita" as she was lovingly called, loved to dance and listen to all kinds of music. She will be dearly missed and never forgotten. Visitation will begin Monday, August 14, 2017 from 2pm to 9pm with a prayer service to be held at 7pm.

Visitation will resume Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 8am, with the motorcade to depart the funeral home at 8:45am, funeral service at 9:30am at Southtown Community Church and interment to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. Services under the direction of Castillo Mission Funeral Home.
