I did not know, until today, of Mr. Sideman's death. I had a gut feeling this might be the case, as I hadn't heard from him in some time. I met Mr. Sideman ('...not Mr. Sideman...it's Mark', he would say) when I worked for the USPS and picked up the outgoing mail at his building. He'd, sometimes, bring last minute mail out to me, and somewhere along the line, when chatting, we got on the subject of bamboo (which I use for projects). He had an over-abundance of it on his property and offered it to me for the taking. I met Mrs. Sideman on one of these visits, and saw how much respect and affection they had for one another, even after all their years together. He was such a lovely, funny, personable man, chatting with anyone and everyone who happened to be around. Such a loss of a genuinely good human being.

I know it´s been a while since Mark passed away, but we think about him often. I just want his family to know that, although he may be gone, he certainly has not been forgotten.
He was such a gentleman. I wonderful colleague, an unusually nice lawyer with which to interact. He is very missed.
All the best,
Carla Morrison

Mark Sideman, had to be one of the nicest, caring, warm welcoming persons I had the pleasure of knowing for years! He knew my family very well, and everytime I would come see him, through my fathers traffic tickets, he would always ask me about my family and reminisce about the memories of him and my uncle bubba jakeman!! Mark, you are now home with Our Lord and say hello to my brother and we will all be reunited one day!! My thoughts and prayers go out to Marks family and I´m so sorry

My dad introduced me to Mark (who was a friend of his for years) at the age of 16 when I received my first speeding ticket. That was the beginning of a long relationship. My heavy foot had me going to Mark´s office for years to come which solidified my admiration for his always smiling, always joyful spirit. I´m so saddened to learn of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you Susan and his family.
Most sincerely,
Courtney (Bahan) Schlessiger

He worked in my office building. He would come down to our office and chit chat with everyone. He had a great sense of humor, had some great stories and always had a smile to share. He will truly be misses.
