Mary Bodet Obituary
Mary (Pat) Bodet
Mary Bodet was born on December 9, 1936 in San Antonio. She passed into the arms of our Lord on May 21, 2013. Pat retired from USAA in 1992 with over 30 years service. She was a wife and beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles H. Berger, Jr., mother, Essie Elizabeth Berger and brother, Charles (Buddy) Berger, III. Pat is survived by her daughters, Debbie (Jeff) Baker, Susan (Glenn) DeMers, grandchildren, Stefanie (Jimmy) Martinson, Megan DeMers, Kaitie DeMers, Dalton Baker and niece, Tammy Cleaveland.
She was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church where she participated in the bereavement ministry and served as Eucharistic minister. Pat enjoyed playing Bingo, adopting stray cats and forecasting the weather. The family wishes to thank her physicians, Dr. Jean Liu, Dr. Kevin Horton, the caring nurses and staff at Odyssey Hospice and all of her many loyal friends.
Service
Visitation will begin on Sunday, May 26, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 27, 2013 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church
(700 Dewhurst, San Antonio, TX 78213) at 1:30 PM. Interment will follow at Mission Burial Park North. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church or SCAT (Stray Cat Adoptions of Texas, 120 Chula Vista, San Antonio, TX 78232-2234).

Pat was a fun person to work with and know. I knew her both from USAA and St. Gregory's and had many a good laugh together....... I know now she is in Our Lord's arms and making Him laugh. God's blessings to all that miss her now.....
