Olga Pena Obituary
July 22, 1925 - July 18, 2024
Our beloved mother, Olga Ramos Pena, went to be with the Lord peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at the age of 98. She was born on July 22,1925 in San Antonio, Texas to Guadalupe and Frances Ramos. She is pre-deceased by her parents, her brothers Wally and Hugo Ramos, her son, William (Bill) Albert Pena and her granddaughter, Olga Marie Montana. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Pena Lockaby, Mary Pena Terry, Olga Pena Wurts, Roxanne Pena Sandoval and Rozlyn Pena Wilkins, seventeen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Olga was a kind soul who devoted her life to public service. In her early years, she supported her husband, Albert A. Pena Jr. with his political campaigns, civil rights activities and community involvement. She was a proud member of the Bexar County Democratic Women's Club and other local organizations. Olga worked as a social worker with the Mexican American Unity Council (MAUC) supporting programs for youths and the elderly.
Funeral arrangements are with Mission Park South, 1700 SE Military Dr., San Antonio, TX 78214. Viewing will take place on Thursday August 1, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Celebration of Life to begin at 11:00 AM with Graveside Service to follow.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society.

My condolences to the Peña family for the loss of their beautiful mother. I went to school with Olga - BSA and Terrell Wells - back in the good ole days. A lot of good memories were made between the Peña family and the Lenow family. I will keep this family in my daily prayers. Blessings to all.
