Preston Moos Obituary

Preston Christopher Moos of Marion, Texas was born December 25, 1987. His sudden death on August 2, 2008 has left emptiness in the lives of all who loved him. He was a 2006 graduate of Marion High School. He attended Lakeview Community College and was employed with Paper Plus in San Antonio. No doubt Preston lived life to the fullest. He had many passions, some of which included boating, golfing, wake boarding, and most importantly hanging out with friends and family. During his 20 years, Preston managed to touch the lives of so many people with his humor, his tremendous zest for adventure and with the profound loyalty he had for those he loved. He is survived by parents, Jim & Christine Moos; brother, Sheldon Moos; sister, Madison Moos, all of Marion; long-time girlfriend, Erin Kimbler of Marion; grandparents, Arnold A. (Fred) & Angeline Moos of Garden Ridge and Bill & Marra Ann Pollok of Garden Ridge; great-grandparents, Kathlyn Moos of Schertz and Adolph Scheel of Converse; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM (with a Rosary being recited at 4:00 PM) on Sunday, August 10, 2008 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Selma. A Mass will be Celebrated at 10:30 AM on Monday, August 11, 2008 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Father Bill Zadora of Annunciation of the BVM Catholic Church in St. Hedwig, Texas as the Celebrant. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in San Antonio. A Memorial Fund for Preston Moos has been established at Schertz Bank and Trust (210) 945-7400. As a parent of a 20-year old son and 15-year old daughter, my wife and I can't begin to imagine the loss your family is dealing with right now.

Please accept our deepest sympathy and I pray you find solace in Christ our risen Saviour. Having lost my Dad February 2007, I find comfort in knowing he is with Christ now. May you be comforted likewise.

On Christ service,

Jerry Hoadley, Jr.

It's hard to find the words to express how heartbroken we feel. Preston had a profound affect on our family. Although Chris and I did not know him well, we know the closeness he and Anthony shared. Our hearts go out to you and your family.
