Raymond Mata Obituary
Raymond Aguilar Mata was called home by the Lord on March 27, 2018, at the age of 55. He was born in San Antonio, TX, on September 10, 1962. He enjoyed playing pool, spending time with family, and living life to the fullest. Everybody loved Raymond! He worked for Oberthur Gaming Technologies and Minuteman Press. He is preceded in death by his parents, Luis Mata Jr. and Theresa Mata; and siblings, Louie III, Jesse and Gloria Mata. Raymond is loved and will be missed by his wife of 30 years, Hermelinda Leyva Mata; children, Armando L. Alcala Jr, Leslie F. Mata, Valerie L. Alcala, Thomas F. Mata and Raymond L. Mata Jr.; 10 grandchildren, Carlos, Nicholas, Julia, Leslie, Anthony, Juan III, Jazlyn, Layla, Jesse III and Danielle; siblings, Joe, Alex and Johnny Mata, Nora Mendoza and Linda Garza; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation will be at Castillo Mission Funeral Home from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday, April 5, 2018, with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. Funeral Procession will depart at 9:15 a.m. on Friday, April 6, 2018, for a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Timothy Catholic Church. Services under the direction of Castillo Mission Funeral Home.
