Richard Pompa Obituary
Richard Pompa completed his 86 year journey on Wednesday, September 30, 2015. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Candalia Guerra Pompa.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Alma T. Pompa; sons, John D. Burton, Rick Pompa, Jr. and his wife, Sonia; Ronald S. Pompa and his wife, Veronica; grandchildren, Priscilla R. Pompa, Ryan Richard Pompa, Stephen M. Pompa, Kaitlyn M. Pompa, Blake Burton, Natalie Moreno and Nicholas Moreno; cousin, Nelda Pompa; and numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and close friends.
SERVICES
Visitation will be on Monday, October 5, 2015 from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. with a Vigil Service at 7:00 P.M. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North, 3401 Cherry Ridge Drive. The Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 9:00 A.M. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 600 Oblate. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.

Dear Alma & family, sorry to hear about Richard. He was such a nice man & the perfect gentleman! They don't make them like that anymore! I have fond memories of him and you dancing and having fun at the parties from The Fed gatherings.
