Thomas Haggard Obituary

Thomas A. Haggard born in Denton, Texas on April 3, 1920 went to be with the Lord on May 26, 2005 at the age of 85 years. He owned and operated Hollywood Boat Works in Houston, Texas before retiring and served his County during WWII while in the Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother and two sisters. Mr. Haggard is survived by his loving wife, Gleta Haggard of 38 years; two daughters, Brenda Kay Haggard and Brenda Jean Lockhart (Joe A.); four sons, Marcus D. Haggard (Rose Anne), Michael A. Haggard (Joyce), Russell Rusty Haggard (Cherie) and David L. Brady (Barbara); three sisters, Willie Mae Howell, Oma Clay Johnson (Albert) and Jean Kelly; fourteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of many friends. SERVICES A visitation will begin on Monday, May 30, 2005 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the Mission Park Funeral Chapels North. A Graveside service will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on Tuesday, May 31, 2005 at 2:15 p.m., 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road, S.A.T. 78209. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a Charity of your choice. You may sign the online guestbook at www.missionparks.com under the obituary section. Mission Park Funeral Chapels North.
