What a joy it was to know Barbara Haines. She always had such a warm smile, positive outlook and strong Christian faith no matter what was going on for her. She is missed in our Awesome Group but grateful to know she is now with her precious Lord and Savior!!

Dear Dan, John, Kathy and families,
I met your mom in the Chancel Choir nearly 40 years ago. We shared many conversations on those rides to choir practicelaughing a lot but sharing the sad and perplexing things, too. Her mom-like love and support of me would often come at just the right time. She and her "Awesome Friends" from church studied the Bible together at her lovely home. Her insights were sometimes funny and sometimes profound. We always ended our study with prayerand oh, how she loved and prayed for all of you! We were blessed by her Christian witness.

To Barbara's family I would like to send my condolences. Barbara was such a wonderful person whom I loved getting to know in the La Jolla Presbyterian Church Choir--Always cheerful and had such a heart for others. I remember her kindness in welcoming me into the choir and sharing lunch after church on occasion. She always was such an inspiration to me with a beautiful "can do" spirit. She shared her light wherever she went. God bless you all as you celebrate her life! Pat Nelson

Condolences to all the family...my heart is filled with many great memories of Barbara. I spent 3 years with your Mother caregiving for her, started out with just 2/24 hr shifts and as time went on I was the one to take more days. These last 8 months I spent 5/24 hour days a week with her, I loved her like my own Mom & cared for her dearly.
On that Tuesday morning, day of her passing I kinda knew it was the day of her leaving all of us...I sat with her and held her hands till God took her away. I was so saddened but then again so happy & excited for her to enter Gods Kingdom. Barb talked about being excited to see all her loved ones that she had lost, and I'd say someday you will reunite with them.
Barb will always have a special place in my heart, she was very good to me & she always made sure I was good. She was a good prayer partner, R.I.P. my dear friend and we shall reunite again someday.
♥ you always,
Leslie

Dear Dan, John, Kathy, and families,
Barb was a dear friend for the past 30 years and we enjoyed so many great trips and made so many memories together. I will always remember her sense of humor, her upbeat attitude, and her devotion to her faith and to God.
I will hold her in my heart with great affection.
