Dear Uncle Dave,

My heart is torn, just as I know yours must be. Although I know, and can almost hear Auntie B's admondisment that we must focus on the wonderful, and lasting memories she has left us with. For my part, the hours upon hours of laughter we shared over the telephone. The warmth and love she added to all the family holidays. Yours and Auntie B's love was truly the first real, and tangible, love I had experienced in my lifetime. She taught me so much about how to live in our hypocritical world. Through example I now see the beauty and wonder that it offers as well. I believe that a part of Heaven is the loving memories that we leave in the hearts left behind. We both know that she has left an overwhelming abundance, and she must surely feel this.
With my deepest sympathy and all my love Sherli

Hi again, Dave. As the stickler for grammar and spelling that I am, there is a number of places where the text could be better. I'd be glad to make the corrections. On the other hand, if you prefer my piece to stay as it is, please submit. And if you think it's more a personal letter than something fit for this venue, please keep it private. I only want you to have my heartfelt condolences on the passing of this most special woman in your life.
I look forward to seeing and being together with you and yours at the services at the cemetery.
Many, many hugs and even more love from

Margit
