Shirley, bless you for keeping the friendship you had with my parents so close to your heart. I love you and the fact that my folks had such a strong friendship with them for so many decades. I wish I could say time has flown by without them but the truth of it is I miss them today just as much as I did 6 years ago. Knowing that there is someone else that miss them equally being me comfort. I hope all is well for you and will email you short to explain why you did not receive a Foster holiday card this year. Again thank you.

March 2025 Now it has been 6 years since you left us and yours was the best , down. To earth advice when I needed it that I got. Our mutual memories help so I cling to them and try to get on with my life and replace the unreplacable.

So many of my educational friends and colleagues have left us to join the Heavenly Unified School District. Beverly was by far one of the best educational leaders I ever had the work for and with in my years in the San Diego Unified School District and at Point Loma Nazarene. I know she is making good things happen among the angels and I´m hoping to see her again. Talented, caring, intelligent, focused and skilled woman you are Dr. Foster. Give my love to Jerry! I love you, Dr. Bob Stein

Not a day goes by that I don't miss Bev. A loyal, true friend who cared deeply for her friends. I treasure all the years we spent toter working at SDUSD and then at Point Loma Nazarene..and of course the countless times we got together with for lunch to fix all the problems in the world!!! She is always in my heart.

When you make your special and final passage from this earthly experience those of us who remain get a chance to reflect on our memories with you. In a way we sort through that old box of photographs buried within our minds and pull out a few we cherish. I had the honor of pulling out many wonderful memories of this incredible woman. I am reviewing them again this year while I can. Love you Bev! Dr. Bob Stein

I first met Beverly in 1984 when she was on the selection committee for Maintenance Director, which I was later selected for. During the next 11 years I worked at San Diego Unified, I had many occasions to work with Beverly. She stands out as one of the finest people I had the pleasure of working with at the district. She was always friendly, professional and respectful, and overall a joy to interact with. The world needs more people like Bev. RIP. Chuck Johnson

Bev will surely be missed especially from the educational world. One of the most talented, caring and influential leaders in my life. She was such a supportive Assistant Superintendent when I was CEO at O'Farrell Community School. Her impact at Point Loma Nazarene College was equivalent. Strong, dedicated, experienced and sensitive; a true mentor. Heaven receives another angel; one I love and will miss. Dr. Bob Stein
