Dear Nancy and son, Guy,
On behalf of the El Cajon Valley High School Class of 1986, I would like to offer our sincere condolences on the loss of your dear husband and father. I only just learned of his passing this evening while searching for classmates for our upcoming reunion next summer and was shocked and saddened to hear that he was gone so soon. I am glad to read in these condolences, however, that he was so loved while he was still here. We will be setting up a photo of him and 6 others from our class at the reunion in memory of those we have lost. He was in French class with me. I also recall sitting near him on the bus on our way up to Disneyland for Grad Night, I believe, and recall he was listening to an Erasure cassette. It's odd what sticks in your mind over the years. He will not be forgotten.

Please accept my condolences. May God Almighty be your refuge and strength in this time of distress.

Dear Nancy and family, I didn't know how much Chris and I had in common (crossword puzzles and especially, coffee and chocolate). Please know that I'm thinking of you all.
Love, Cousin Val and family.

Nancy, Guy, and the rest my Faulkner family,
I am so sorry for your loss, and I know that you are all still in shock that he is gone physically but our memories of him live forever. He was such a sweet person... Not a mean bone in his body! It's just not fair!
If we can help you Nancy, please let us know.
Love,
Cousin Mike and Lynn Hensley

Dear Nancy, Guy and family,
My heart is heavy for you. Chris was so friendly and quick with a smile. It was a delight to watch him at preschool with Guy. I pray those times will be entrenched in Guy's memory forevermore. I'm sad I didn't get to learn how to compost from him...I was truly looking forward to that. In time, may your memories of joyful times together comfort you and carry you through.

I didn't know Chris, but I know Nancy, and if she chose him as her partner and cohort in life, then he was a first-class, fantastic person. My heart and thoughts are with you, Nancy.

I was blessed to have known Chris and witnessed some of the joy he brought to Nancy and Guy. I too have just the hat and will raise a cup in his honor.
He is loved and will be missed.

I think I only met Chris once. But I am glad I at least got to meet him that time. :) Love and hugs (and hats!) to Nancy, Guy, and the rest of the family.

So many fantastic memories, but really, I owe him for teaching me the fine art of the deadpan stare.
I'll chuck a hideous teddy bear off a bridge in your honor, Semi-Cute Dude.

I sure did love Chris. He was one of my favorite brother-in-laws and he sure did make Nancy and Guy happy. Hope he's having a big cup of coffee and some chocolate on a cruise ship to Heaven right now. Peace on, Chris.

I had the good fortune to get to know Chris the last couple f years and he was just a good, funny, gentle man. A devoted father and husband to Nancy and Guy, the loss is huge, but he lives on in spirit and in his beautiful boy. Rocking a hat for you Chris!

I will miss Chris's kindness and wonderful sense of humor; but most of all I will miss Sunday mornings watching him drive away to enjoy is morning coffee--the neighborhood won't be the same--he is gone way too soon.
