Dave and his sister Anne lived in the same block as my family, when I was growing up. We used to be so excited when he came home from prep school or college in the summer because he was so handsome and funny. On one occasion, he brought Dave Brubeck Jr. home with him. He also dated my cousin.
Though decades have passed, I will always have very fond memories of those long ago times and of Dave and his sister Anne.
