I think about you every day & miss you terribly. You made it nearly impossible to leave San Diego in 2011 & you were my favorite reason to return in 2013. I miss your face! I look forward to the day when we reunite in heaven.

I met Dave many many years through his brother Manny; Dave was always the life of the party with something quick and funny to say. I would run into him every so often at a boxing match or backyard party he was hosting. My friend Bryan & I went to one of his parties once wearing somewhat of tropical themed shirts and ever since then he tagged us as “The Hawaiian Brothers”. Dave’s house parties would have a pretty good turn out, he told me once he had the after party clean up down to a science, his secret was he would “contract” his young boys to do the clean-up. I use his same cleanup method to this day with my own kid.
Dave was a cool guy, this pandemic has struck so many to the core.
My sincerest condolence for his boys and family.

I still can’t accept that you’re no longer here. Thank you for the good memories we shared. You were always so giving! There was never a dull moment running into you! Some of my best times I had when I was out and about was running into you. From the time we ran into each other until we went out separate ways, we laughed the whole time! I don’t know how things will end up, but I hope one day we see each other again! Love you cousin. I am going to miss you so much!

To my beloved friend, I will miss you for as long as I walk this earth without you. I would call you in fun and seriousness. You where always there for me. You where the first person I met when I moved here to San Diego. You will always be friend. I will miss our jokes and your laughter. I will miss you Dave.
Love Chicago Mike.

Manny gave the pre-introduction of, "Hey come meet my (little) brother" as Dave came around the corner I quickly understood what the chuckling was about. From that moment the laughs ensued. He always had so much energy and exuberance for whatever he was doing. Even his rapier sharp wit in itself could crack a smile on my face sometimes, as he never seemed to be caught off guard with any situation. His warm and comical nature always lifted the mood of a room. He will truly be missed.
My sincerest condolences and prayers to his family.

David was a loving family member with a lot of charm and a cool personality.
He was my unique cousin with many great qualities and sincere straightforward, enjoyable conversation. Some of the simple or funniest things he said showed how connected he was with family, even if he hadn’t seen you in years. David and his “adorable” personality (he wasn’t shy to tell us he was adorable), will forever be missed and never forgotten.
