Hello Helen, Steve, Dave, Judy and families,
I'm so glad that Diana sent me this web site. You're all in our prayers during this difficult time. I'm so glad I got to see you all last summer at Tom's and spend time with you there. (Judy, I would have liked more time with you--I felt like we were kindred spirits!) When you least expect it, some little thing will remind you of Ray and the tears will come, but in time, those will be sweet memories. May God comfort each of you and give you strength.

Our warm thoughts and prayers are with the Forrest Walker's family at these difficult moments in their lives. As a friend, a colleague and a fellow environmental health professional, these are difficult moments for me as well. Forrest was a true friend, an esteemed colleague and an environmental health leader . He will be missed; but he will always be remembered. God Bless.

Helen, I was very saddened to hear of the loss of your husband. He was a true professional. He was a mentor to me. He was also very supportive during my presidency in CEHA. We have truly lost a friend and a scholar. His memory will live on as the profession continues.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of Forrest's family, friends and colleagues. I have been very blessed, honored and thankful to have known Forrest these last 20 years. He has been a mentor and friend to me as I worked through the California Environmental Health Association (CEHA) offices. He supported me through tough decisions and gave me sound advice. I will always remember him as a warm man who was generous and always seemed to have a little mischevious smile. He will be deeply missed.

Though I only met Ray & his beautiful wife, Helen,a few times, I found him to be a caring and wonderfully kind person. All the relatives I've met loved him loved them both sooo... much.
May all the beautiful memories the family built over the years carry you all through this time of sorrow.

Forrest will remain in my mind as an admirable, faithful, and iconic figure in his professional discipline. More importantly, he was (and in my mind always will be) a man to be admired for his friendliness, kindness, and again, faithfulness. So many of us from the Environmental Health profession feel the very same way. He exemplifies 'role model' in a measure much larger the professionalism. Thank you for sharing your life and your smiles, Walker. Mrs Walker and the Walker family, my prayers of comfort are with you. May our collective fond memories bring you comfort in this time of grief.

Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you to get through this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Mary and Jeff Wells

I first met the Walker family many years ago when Dave Walker became my brother-in law. Even though times have changed I still consider Dave Walker to be a good friend. I remember Ray Walker very well and understand how his family loves him and misses him. What a priveledge it was to have known such a fine man and to still know the family he was such a wonderful example for. I send my sincerest thoughts and prayers to the Walker family.
