Dearest Heather,

We had been searching for you for quite some time. Only until today that we heard of the news from your old room mate Jason. We are deeply saddened because you were truly the most awesome stylist with the biggest heart and most heartfelt welcome everytime I came for my appointment. We will always love and remember you! I know you are with all the angels in heaven; bet they're happy now that they'll look twice as beautiful because the have an awesome stylist always available!

We Love You Always,

Dearest Heather:

I called you last Sunday night to see how you were doing. I was shocked and saddened to hear what Brent had to say when he answered your cell phone. I hope you realize just how much you mean to me. The things we shared in our many candid conversations were so very special. One of the reasons I hated leaving San Diego was that I knew I would never find someone as talented as you with a salon where one could have "lap visits" from Hercules and Leo. You always made me feel so beautiful - both inside and out. I'm so thankful we kept in touch after I saw you this past May. It was so nice to finally meet Gary that day, and I will always cherish my last huge hug from you when I left.

"Into each life some tears must fall; our hearts may sometimes break, and sorrows come to one and all, for all must give and take. God never leaves us hopeless; he listens to each prayer, and when we're filled with peacefulness, an Angel has been there.

Heather, you were a real "Earth Angel" to so many people. I hope you took your appointment book - I feel better now knowing I'll be able to make my standing "5 week appointments" with you some day.

I love and miss you! I know you're in the comfort of God's and your grandmother's arms.

Oh, sweet, beautiful Heather, how to put it all in words? I feel honored to have been your client and friend and I will always remember our lively conversations, your realistic attitude and your special skill for remembering details of other peoples lives! You lived and laughed hard, felt deeply, and loved passionately. Right now I feel confident there's an angel watching over us, an angel with golden locks of hair and a radiant smile that shines down on all of us.

Dear Heather and family,

We were deeply saddened when we heard the news about Heather. We only knew her a little over a year but she was such an inspiration for myself and my 12 year old daughter, Alyssa. She always made us laugh and really think about what's important. We will always remember her smile and miss the special "lessons" she had with Alyssa, as well as her wonderful hair designing. We will miss her always. May you find comfort in knowing that her wonderful spirit will live forever in our hearts and heaven above.

Lovingly,

Karen and Alyssa Lammers

Heather,

I know you never realized how important you were to so many. You had so much value and worth, a beautiful person inside and out. I will miss my four-hour appointments in which we laughed and cried together. I will always remember the things we talked about, the values and what is important in life. I will miss you so very much, your smile, the 80's music, the star gossip and latest trends, not to mention when you loved to give me "Rock Star" hair. I will miss everything, fun times and serious times. I am sorry you were hurting but I do understand. I will think of you always and remember your soul in heaven. I am blessed to have had you in my life all these years. Rest in peace my dear friend.

Dear Heather,

I spoke with your brother today and received the news. I can only pray that you are at peace now and that your troubles have passed.

You rescued me and my hair 4 years ago when I was a lost transplant from the east coast. Your interest in my life, thoughts and opinions were always appreciated and proved your caring for others. I will truly miss our conversations and having either Leo or Hercules on my lap while you did my hair.

Please know that your talents were appreciated. The kindness that you showed my boys when I unexpectedly had to to bring them to an appointment meant a lot to me and you especially touched Miles with your interest in his life.

Gary, Heather loved you deeply and so much wanted a life with you and a family. I hope you find comfort knowing that she is finally with her loving God and grandmother.

I will miss you Heather.

Dear Gary & Family,

I just recently learned of Heather's

passing. I am so very sorry for your loss. Heather had been doing my hair for several years. I will

miss her greatly. We had many

personal conversations together.

I admired her boldness and independence. She spoke her mind and did not care what others thought

about her views. I know you are

suffering a great loss. She had

very strong faith and I'm sure she

is very her beloved grandmother now.

God Bless you.

Dearest Brad,

I want you to know that I am so blessed by the love and care you've given me over all the years we've known each other. I can still see your sweet face and feel your warm hug when you came to support me when my mom died. I only hope I can give back to you now in your time of need. I know you're already in God's hands and that your faith will see you through. Also, please know that I will be there if you need ANYTHING. I'm honored to be in your life and to share any burden with you. Your life and your courage during adversity and sadness are something I always look to when I struggle myself. I can believe in God's power to comfort and to give peace because I could see it in your eyes on Saturday. God Bless you and your family, and especially your dear daughter, Heather. I love you.

Gary, I only met you once with Heather. I wanted to let you know how sad it was to hear the news. Heather and I had a few "deep" meaningful talks, and I hope that I always left her feeling "up" and encouraged. We, the neighbors and myself, expected Heather to just be another one of the "gals" in the neighborhood, enjoying our girls nights. She only made it to one. I have a picture of all of us and will bring it down to you when the time is right. I still can't believe she is gone, but never to be forgotten. May God rest her soul.

"Mojo Queen"

The world is a much less colorful place without you in it, and your absence is felt as deeply as the profound impression you made on so many.

You lived your life on your own terms, and so, I suppose, it could be no different in the end. You were a whirlwind of passion and a vibrant storm of enthusiasm in your quest for meaning. I hope you have found it… and are at peace.

Know that you are loved, and that you will be missed.

The Unknown Shore (by Elizabeth Clark Hardy)

Sometime at evening when the tide is low,

I shall slip my mooring and sail away,

With no response to the friendly hail

Of kindred craft in the busy bay.

In the quiet hush of the twilight pale,

When the night stoops down to embrace the day,

And the voices call and the waters flow;

Sometime at eve when the tide is low,

I shall slip my mooring and sail away.

Through purple shadows that darkly trail

O'er the ebbing tide of the unknown sea,

I shall fare me away with a dip of sail

And a ripple of water to tell the tale

Of a lonely voyager sailing away

To mystic isles where at anchor lay

The craft of those who have gone before

O'er the unknown sea to the unknown shore

A few who have watched me sail away

Will miss my craft from the busy bay;

Some loving souls that my heart holds dear,

In silent sorrow will drop a tear,

But, I shall have peacefully furled my sail

In moorings sheltered from storm and gale,

And greet family and friends who have gone before

O'er the unknown sea to the unknown shore.
