To the Frazee Family,
Thank you for the beautiful tribute to Les in the Sunday paper. One of the treasures she left behind for me was her account of running in the 1979 New York Marathon. Her talent of putting that experience into words is priceless to me. She was a shining star in life and, now, will be forever.

Mr. Nick, I met you while coming up to be with my dad Chuck in Encinitas. I would see you every single time I was there, right by your wife's side and thought to myself, wow....now if that isn't love, I don't know what is. I want you to know how remarkable I think you are and I never forgot the vision of you walking with her....well it's hard to put into words but I think you know.....God bless you sir, you two truly were a beautiful love story and I am so sorry for your loss.

This was one of the most beautiful obituaries ever written. What a fantastic lady, so glad to be involved in her life on a minor scale because of Melanie's and Kimmie's connection. Our most sincere deepest condolences to all of the family.

Nick. We didn't know Leslie, but remember her grace in hosting our 25th SDHS Reunion back in 1979. She made everyone so comfortable and welcome in your home, and that made it a memorable day for all of us.
Sunday's tribute to her was beautifully written and you were so lucky to have shared life with such a great person. Our condolences to you and your family.

So sorry to read Leslie's obituary in Sunday's paper. My husband, John Schofield worked for Frazee for 35 years and everything written reminded us so much of her. Just this year, I came across one of the Christmas cards that she would send after the holidays, hand written with a photo of the family. We looked forward to receiving these every year. In this most difficult time, may you all find comfort in treasured memories. Condolences to Nick and the family.

I didn't know Leslie. I saw her once walking with Nick and friends at the Yacht Club. She was such a natural woman. Easy in her skin and quite elegant, but in a natural, unassuming way. My Step-father was a "lifer" yachtsman at the club. I was walking with him the day I first saw her, and I will never forget it. She was a living angel. My condolences to the family. I grew up on the end of the point, but never had the opportunity to meet her. I think my one experience told me all I needed to know.I do strongly believe in the after life and think she is an angel among us. God Bless You during this Difficult time. MLB

ONE INCREDIBLE PERSON. I was so privileged to know Leslie, and Nick, in college and to be part of their lives over the years, through sailing, their wedding, as a godfather, in business and other activities. If I was having a bad day I could always think of Les with her smile, her wisdom and her effusive and positive nature. WOW, have a lot of us, all that new and met her, been so fortunate to have had her in our life. I will never forget her; she's in my heart. And, that goes for "Saint" Nick who so loved her and was dedicated to her endlessly.

Nick and family,
What a wonderful tribute for a wonderfully special women. There are so many memories that we could share, but the one that keeps popping up is-- years ago my parents were house sitting and my dad moved my basket full of Les's beautifully decorated eggs and they broke. My mom called Les and asked if she could buy some from her. You guessed it, a basket full of eggs arrived at our house, no chargeWe still have those eggs on our dinning room table, great memories of my parents and Les.
All our love to you all♥♥♥

I was really sorry to hear about Les's passing. What an amazing person. Looking back at all my friend's parents growing up, Les really stood out. She always had a smile on her face and something nice to say. She really made you feel that she was happy to see you. What a rare quality. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
