Matt was an amazing young man who always brought positive energy and enthusiasm to my class. I still think of him often and feel tremendous pain for his family who lost Matt in that tragic accident as he headed back home. It was a privilege to participate in Matt´s education while we shared the common bond of being San Diegans. He would be thrill for our Padres as a Baseball star for Eastern NM. My sincere condolences to the Siesel family. I was one of his professors at Eastern. Michael Sutliff, Dean Kinesiology, Orange Coast College

Matt always had a smile and was a great person. Matt was in my PE class, and on the 5th and 6th grade basketball class I coached at the School of the Madeleine. Besides being a great athlete, he was a great sportsman and was well liked by everyone and it was a pleasure to have him on the team and in PE class.
