Richard VanDerhoff Obituary

Oct. 7, 1953-July 15, 2005

Richard James VanDerhoff, 51, of Poway died Friday. He was born in Englewood, N.J., and was president and chief operating officer of Realty Income Corp.

He was chairman of the board of the California State University San Marcos Foundation and a member of the Finance Council of the Catholic Diocese of San Diego.

Survivors include his wife, Vicki VanDerhoff; daughters, Katie and Emily VanDerhoff of Poway; son, David VanDerhoff of Poway; sisters, Mimi Fait of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., Pat Walsh of Pawtucket, R.I., Jean Mastellone of Columbus, N.M., and Cathy Miller of Sparrow Bush, N.Y.; brothers, Jack VanDerhoff of Pageland, S.C., Jim VanDerhoff of Tokyo, Japan, Joe VanDerhoff of Richmond, Va., Bob VanDerhoff of Escondido and Alan VanDerhoff of El Cajon.

Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. tomorrow, Alhiser-Comer Mortuary, 225 S. Broadway, Escondido.

Mass: 10 a.m. Friday, St. Michael Catholic Church, 15546 Pomerado Road, Poway.

Interment: after services, El Camino Memorial Park, 5600 Carroll Canyon Road, San Diego.
