I have vague memories of uncle Virgil . My father was dean and I'm Gary Coffman his oldest son. I miss him and those wonderful times. I am now 74 years old and in relative good health. Virgil out lived Dean and Don and I believe I'm going to out live my younger siblings.

Virgil will be greatly missed by everyone fortunate enough to meet him. He was smart, friendly, calm in the face of catastrophe, wise, and he had common sense. He could be counted on. He gave wonderful advice. I have only met his sons John and Richard and John's wife Catherine and her son. The Coffmans are a wonderful family. I am so sorry for your loss.
