Elanore Lemon Obituary

Elanore Lemon, 83, known as "Itsy" by her friends, passed away peacefully Friday, June 19, 2009, at her home. She was born in September 1925 at Lake Elsinore, Calif., to June and Frederick Earles. When Richard retired from the Los Angeles Fire Department, together they built their dream home in Arroyo Grande, where they have lived for over 30 years. Elanore enjoyed visiting with friends, the holidays and cooking for her entire family. She had an endless amount of love, laughter and complete devotion to her family and home. She gave generously to her three favorite charities ASPCA, St. Jude and the Disabled Veterans fund. Elanore is survived by three children daughter, Dian "Di" ; sons Robert Sebring and Jim (Valerie) Lemon; granddaughters! Stacy (Joe) and Valerie Blankenship; great-granddaughter, Alexandra Blankenship; niece, Marsha (Randy) Erwin; and nephew, Mike Burgess and family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 50 years, Richard. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at Los Osos Memorial Park in Los Osos. We all love you, Mom, Grandma, and Great-Grandma - You will be terribly missed.

my name is alex im elanores great grandaughter i miss her terribly but also i miss her love for me and the family

my name is Valerie Im Elanore Lemons granddaughter and I have a daughter named Alexandra and that was Elanores great granddaughter we just want to say that our grandma will be missed forever in our hearts and that we love her very much I have one special memory on Friday june i9th my daughter and I went down to see my grandmother and we visited with her for awhile and then after awhile we had to go but the special memory that I have to remember is that right before I was getting ready to go is that I told my grandma that I love her and she opened her eyes and she said I love you too honey and I was holding her hand I have one thing to say that my grandma is the best grandma that anybody could ever have and she will be missed dearly from eveyone that new her she always had a very nice smile always on her face and shes was always willing to lend a hand and her love for animales she would always would take in stray cats and nurse them back to health well what I could say about my grandmother she is a very loving caring person and I just wish that if she could here me I would want her to know that I love her and I miss her very much and all the conversations that we would have I kept in touch with her everyday and Im gonna miss her god bless you grandma lemon I love you and I miss you love your granddaughter valerie

My nane is Valerie Blankenship and Im Elanores granddaughter and I have a daughter named Alexandra and Alexandra is Elanores great granddaughter I know shes in a better place but I wish she was still here I talked to her everyday on the phone to see how she was doing Im gonna miss that and I miss her already I have one among many special memories but the one Im gonna share is that on june i9th my daughter and I went down to visit her and most of the time she was sleeping but right when I was getting ready to go I told my grandma that I loved her and she opened her eyes and she said I love you too honey and the whole time I was holding her hand I would just like to say grandma lemon if your listening I just want you to know that I love you very much and you will be greatly missed you are the best grandma anybody could ever have and grandma I love you and thank you so very much for always being there for me and you will always be in my heart I love you and you will be greatly missed by everyone that knew you and Im been very blessed by having a grandma like you you will always be forever in my heart and memories love your grandaughter valerie
