I am a member of CWD and was so saddened to hear of your loss. I had heard many great things about Trent and had hoped that one day my son John who is 11 and was diagnosed in 2009 would meet Trent at FFL. We will keep your family in our prayers.

Dearest Nicholson family, my thoughts & prayers are with your family as you deal with the loss of dear Trent. I can only hope that no other lives are taken because of this horrible disease, type 1 diabetes & we find a cure!

I did not know Trent or his family. I do know alot about juvenille diabetes. I too have a son that was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 4yrs. He is 9 now and We are blessed to have a great son every day. I know I cannot take away your grief but I do want you to know that I know what it takes to raise a child with this disease and how much work it is for the family also.
I read that Trent wanted to grow up and cure diabetes. He did not get to do this but I think his untimely death will help people realize the importants of a cure for this disease. Please know that Trent is in peace and he has helped keep the fight for a cure going on for children like mine and all over the world.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I happened to meet Trent the day before he passed away, and he seemed like a great kid. The last thing he told me was "my eyes were going to turn orange from eating too many carrots". I know he was a very loved kid, and he is missed terribly.

I miss you so much Trent you ment alot to everyone and now you up in heaven staring down at us and watching over us. I miss you alot I still can't believe you are gone . This just reminds me of my mom. Trent tell her hi for me. You both will be greatly miss forever. I love you R.I.P Trent.

Trent was one of my sons best friends. It was hard to watch my big guy fall apart over his friend. He must have been an amazing friend to my son Nate. God Bless the family....my prayers are with you!

My heart goes out to Trent's entire family. Trent will be missed deeply by myself and my family. He was a true friend to my son spending alot of his summer days keeping Travis company while he was layed up with a broken leg. His smile will never be forgotten!
