Lori Madden Obituary

Lori Reynaud Madden
Feb. 18, 1959 - July 26, 2021
Danville, California
Lori Reynaud Madden peacefully passed away in the embrace of her family on July 26. Born and raised in Los Gatos, Lori enjoyed running through the orchards and witnessing the development of Blossom Valley with her siblings (Donna, Denise, Jim). At every stage of life, Lori showed courage, compassion and curiosity; embracing each experience with zeal and gratitude to God. Lori never met a stranger, she was a friend to every soul. Her care for others extended to volunteering at school and church events, rosary group, feeding the homeless, and sharing kindness in daily activities. Mom's gift to remember people, their stories, their birthdates, and make each event unique for that person were among her many talents. In her 62 years on this earth, she most loved being a Mom (maybe being a GiGi even a little more); she loved to take her children and friends on camping trips, to travel and explore new cultures. She was amazingly gifted at keeping a beautiful home, being the "hostess with the mostest;" and always had cookies ready for the drop-in visitor. Lori was a selflessly dedicated daughter, and mother-of-the-heart to many; the lessons learned in laughter with Lori are too many to count in one lifetime. In line with her spirit, Lori's last word on this earth was, "Love."
Lori is preceded to eternal rest by her Mother: Mary, Father: Henry, brothers-in-law: Steve, Harry and Denny, niece: Kerry, dear friends: Sara and Jen, and many more.
She was the devoted and loving wife of 35 years to husband Tony; proud and fiercely loving mother to Ryann and Kylie; kind mother-in-law to Patrick and the super amazing GiGi to her granddaughter Anabella Grace.
