Maria Stolz was an incredible woman who mastered anything she tried; she truly was a renaissance woman. She was a coloratura classical soloist in multiple choirs, an amazing stained-glass artist, an avid participant in local politics, a Jewish Chaplin at the local Catholic Hospital, and later worked as a Marriage Family Therapist helping many in need.
Although she had an abundance of accomplishments, she would say her greatest achievement was raising her three wonderful children: Moana Lua, Asher and Liliapua Stolz with her soul mate and loving husband Howard Stolz. She is survived by her husband, three children and five grandchildren: Destiny, Brayden, Bryce, Kaleo and Anuhea.
Services will be held at Temple Beth El in Aptos on April 20, 2017 at 1:30pm, followed by a short ceremony at Home of Peace Cemetery.

I will always remember Maria and my heart and spirits will soar when I'm gazing at the stunning stain glass windows she made for the Temple Beth El sanctuary. Maria's dedication to and integrity on the Community Bridges Board of Directors when I was Chief Operating Officer there is a memory of commitment and passion. Above all, there was warmth in Maria's countenance, compassion in her soul, and love in her actions and smile. Soar on Maria! Aloha and Shalom.

My sincere and deepest sympathies to all the family. I was Moana and Asher's babysitter many, many years ago when they lived in Aptos across the street from my parents house. She was a nice lady. I am very sorry for your loss of Maria!
