David Romero Obituary

David Romero, Sr. David Romero, Sr. went to the arms of Our Lord after a two- year battle with cancer on October 6, 2011 at his home in Albuquerque surrounded by family. David was born in La Piedra Lumbre near Wagon Mound New Mexico to Natividad and Luz Romero. Preceded in death by his parents: Luz and Natividad Romero, his sons, David Romero, Jr., Frank Romero, William Romero and daughter, Lucy Sandoval. His brothers: Donicio, Tedioro, and Blas Romero, sisters: Aniceta Cruz, Bonifacia Valdez, Clara Romero, Elia Garcia, Lucinda Lucero. David is survived by his wife Rosa Romero, daughters: Lorriane Baca (Jimmy), Patricia Uriostegui, Judy Bustamante (David), Monica Romero and Bernadette Romero and sister, Sofia Esquibel twenty grand children, thirty great grand children, many nephews, and nieces. Special friends: Jose Giron, Shannon Steelman, Chivon Wierstman, Omar Jones and Steve Matthews and many other friends. Pallbearers are his grand children: Mark Chavez, Victor Romero, Andrew Romero, Edward Archuleta, David Chavez and Angenic Uriostegui. Honorary pallbearers are the rest of his grand children. Funeral Services are scheduled as follows: Rosary on Tuesday evening at the Santa Clara Catholic Church recited by the Penitentes, a second viewing and Mass of Christian burial on Wednesday October 12, 2011 at Santa Clara Catholic Church in Wagon Mound, NM with burial to follow at Santa Clara Cemetary.
