FRANK KRAMER Obituary

FRANK EDWARD KRAMER
Frank Edward Kramer, age 72, died May 15, 2021 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, after a long illness. Husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, and devoted friend of Rodney and Kathryn Miller of Houston, TX. He was preceded in death by his father Frank Fouts Kramer, his mother, Kathleen Myers, and brother Douglas Terry Kramer, all of Houston, TX. He leaves behind his wife, Anna Kramer of Santa Fe, NM, his sons, Kristian Chronister of New Cumberland, PA, and Tor Kramer of Mechanicsburg, PA; his daughter, Jenifer Miller of St. Charles, MO; grandchildren Andrew Chronister, Caroline Chronister, Brayden Miller, and Addison Miller; and his beloved aunt, Ruth Fisher of Orange, TX.
He attended Westbury High School in Houston, TX, where he was a bass guitar player for a band, the Rogues. He received his undergraduate degree at University of Houston, and his Master's in Earth and Planetary Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis, MO. He was one of four partners at Federated Software Group in St Louis, MO. Musician, geologist, artist, jeweler, pro bowler, sport pilot, motorcycle enthusiast, fisherman, golfer, and friend to many. He often described himself as "a dog in a field of butterflies" to explain his many interests. His favorite quote best explains his zest for life: "Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming 'Wow! What a Ride!'"– Hunter S. Thompson.
He will be sorely missed by all who loved him, and all whom he loved.
