Jose Rodriguez Obituary

JOSE HERIBERTO RODRIGUEZ FEBRUARY 6, 1932 - SEPTEMBER 18, 2007 Joe passed away peacefully in Oakland, CA at the age of 75. Joe was born in Santa Fe, NM on Camino San Acacio and moved to California after his military service with 101st Airborne Division. He is survived by his wife, Billie; his children: Paul, Mark, and Raquel; grandson, Christian. His is also survived by three sisters: Toni Gonzales of Tesuque, Cuca de Buen of Mexico City, Rosina and brother-in-law Leon Watson of Oakland, CA; one brother, Mario Rodriguez of Santa Fe. Joe is missed by all who especially remember his strong character and sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rosarito and Jose Rodriguez; his brother, Santiago Rodriguez. Joe's ashes have been resting in the Capillita de Santa Inez and will be interred at Santa Fe National Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held for Joe at the Veterans Chapel on September 18, 2008, at 11 a.m. CON MUNCHO AMOR - SIEMPRE

My Godfather, Uncle Joe Joe was a very generous man who was always fun to be around. His mellow attuide and the way he carried himself is to be admired. He is missed and and will never forgotten.
