David Slaight Obituary
David "Dave" James Slaight, 38, a beloved son and father, passed away April 18th 2011 in Santa Maria, CA. David was born July 1st, 1972 in Santa Maria, CA.
As a child David enjoyed riding dirt bikes and playing hockey. David grabbed at every opportunity in life. He was a loving and devoted father. His daughters were cherished by him. He was an avid sports fan of the Cowboys, Lakers and Dodgers. He was a very giving man; he would go out of his way for a friend in need.
He is survived by his mother Eileen Krienke of Tangelwood, CA; his daughters Heather and Lisa Slaight of Santa Maria, CA; borther Jim Dugay of Lompoc, CA; sisters Elizabeth Krienke of Tangelwood, CA and Evette Dugay Fennessy of Coalinga, CA; as well as many nieces and nephews, who were all very dear to him.
Please join us on Saturday, April 30th at 11:00am at Miguelito Canyon Park in Lompoc, CA for a pot luck Memorial in honor of "the Celebration of David's Life". Please come and share your fondest memory and favorite dish.

I still think of u a lot Dave You truly are one of a kind and missed so much by so many , especially ur babies who u loved with all ur heart ... Tara is doing such a great job with them and they have grown into beautiful, amazing young women.....u would be so proud if u were here Dave... Please know that there will always be a part of me that went with u... I loved u unconditionally and u meant the world to me even we were just friends....u were one of my best friends here on earth and always will be to eternity.... Rest in peace Dave, I Love You ❤

You were such a kind man. I often noticed that you were always thinking about others first. You loved those little girls like crazy, and I know they will never forger that...the last time I saw you, we were driving back from bakersfield after the whole gang spent the 4th of july there in 2009. You had us laughing the whole way back!! Rest in peace dave. You will always be remembered.
