We were shocked to hear of george's passing. living in florida often delays the news much too long.
The Vincek family has lost a fine man, and those still living close and far, will think of him as we pass by.

When I was a young girl, my parents were friends of George and Rita Vincek who were hard working, gentle people who set the example of what it means to be a family. George was a kind, gentle man and a role model for his children and all of us. Our sincere sympathy goes out to his wife Rita and all his children and family. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Friends and neighbors, Gail & Tom Remington

Aunt Rita, Maria, Johnny, Paul and Andy. I wish I could be there with you to celebrate Uncle George's life. He was my Godfather and I alway remember him with a big smile on his face. He was such a hard worker and I don't think I ever saw him sit down unless he was in church. Cousin Eileen had it right, I remember him saying with a big smile on his face, "Hello Girls," and then he was on to tending to the farm or his mill. My heart and prayers go out to you.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Mrs. Vincek and all of the family. Mr. Vincek will truely be missed by all. I'm not sure how he ever put up with all of us kids "hanging out" at his house and all of the pond bon fires. He was truely a kind and loving gentleman.

I feel priviledged to have seen Uncle George last summer. It was wonderful to have spent some time with him; I'll never forget his warm "hello, girls!" greeting when we would come for a visit.

So sorry to hear of your loss. We have known George and his family for many years. He was always a pleasure to talk to. He and my Father Ed were horse traders from way back and whenever we went over to get lumber they would always get talkng of the old days. He milled the knotty pine lumber we used in our house when we built in 1978. He will be missed not only by his family and friends but the Wilton community as well. Our thoughts and prayers are with you
