In 1963 she was hired at Dixon State School. During the next 30 years, she worked as an occupational therapist. She loved helping her patients and would often say she loved them as if they were her own kids.
Marilyn was a strong family woman who loved her husband and two sons. Her main priorities in life were God, family, and friends. She loved traveling with her husband around the country as he shot trap. She really loved meeting new people and developing lifelong relationships. It was easy for Marilyn to make friends.
Marilyn's soul full of happiness and generosity will be missed by many. Her infectious smile and laugh always brightened the atmosphere wherever she was. She loved hanging out with her sons, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Memories that will last a lifetime will remind us of a beautiful woman inside and out. We love you Marilyn and will truly miss you.
