Michael S. Katzman, age 35, of Sterling, died Friday, November 29, 2024 at his home.
Michael was born August 31, 1989 in Sterling, the son of Steven Katzman and Sheri (Edwards) Southers. Most of his life, he was employed in the automotive industry, most recently at Addison Automatics, Inc. in Harmon. In his high school years, Michael played football at Dixon High School and has always been an avid Green Bay Packers fan. He enjoyed playing and working on guitars and riding his ATV and dirt bike at the cabin. Michael had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making others happy. Most of all, he loved his daughters.
He is survived by his two daughters, Olivia and Savannah; his father, Steven (Debby) Katzman of Creston; his mother, Sheri (Ernie) Southers of Brodhead, WI; one sister, Lindsey (Nate) Cox of Dixon; two brothers, Noah (Kisha) Allgeyer of Creston and Corey Southers of Columbus, OH; maternal grandparents, Tom and Elaine Martin of Coloma, WI; one niece, Chloe; three nephews, Lucas, Daniel, and Benjamin; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Duane and Carol Katzman.
The family is having a private service, although, a public memorial service is being scheduled. The details will be announced in the near future.
