Pamela Scott Obituary

Pamela J. Scott
Born: May 23, 1958 in Keokuk, IA
Died: June 18, 2025 in Peoria, IL
PROPHETSTOWN - Pam Scott, 67, of Prophetstown, Illinois, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on June 18, 2025, surrounded by family. Born May 23, 1958, to OC and Clara Wheeler in Keokuk, IA.
She is survived by her husband Greg Scott; children, Gary Grass Jr., Nichole (Todd) Murphy, Lindsay (Matthew) Topping; grandchildren, Madlyn, Taylor, Kevin, Brinley, and Maddox; niece, Michelle (Randy) Menke, as well as their children Emily and Sam. She also leaves behind her beloved dog Bella.
Pam and Greg owned and operated American Gear, Inc. in Prophetstown for the past 19 years.
Pam was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother. Pam's passion for life was shown in her love of gardening, boating, and traveling with friends. Some of her greatest joys were spending time with her grandchildren, whom she adored deeply, and hosting unforgettable parties like Pre-Easter and Halloween. She also loved Thursday nights at the Club, and Friday night dinners with friends, especially when Forest Inn was the destination of choice.
Pam was known to try her luck with the one-armed bandits on occasion. It seemed that more times than not she would best them. This was evident based upon the amount of people that would want to pair up with her in hopes of sharing in some of her good fortune.
A "Gone Too Soon Memorial" will be held Friday, June 27, 2025, from 5:00pm-? at the Prophetstown Country Club in Prophetstown, IL. All who knew and loved Pam are welcome to attend in honor and celebrate her vibrant life.
In lieu of flowers, please feel free to plant something beautiful in her memory.
