Died: August 2, 2021
Russell R. Rank, 68, of Forreston, IL (formerly of Annawan, IL) passed away Monday, August 2, 2021, under hospice care at the home of his cousin, following a brief battle with cancer.
He was born January 7, 1953 in Sterling, IL, the son of Russell Sr. and Lorainne Joy (Jaques) Rank. He was raised by his grandparents, Delma and Audrey Jaques.
Russell worked for Agri Pro Seed Company. Horseback riding was his passion. He also enjoyed motorcycle riding, helping his cousin on the farm, star gazing, flying drones, as well as collecting Breyer horses and small scale farm toys.
Russell is survived by his brother, Kenneth Anderson of Atkinson, IL; special cousin, Joanne (Gary) Abels of Forreston, IL; and numerous other cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be held Saturday August 14, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home, Forreston.
A memorial will be established in his memory.

I am so sorry to hear of Rusty's passing. I remember all the times out at Grandma's and playing growing up. He was always so quiet and I always loved his laugh. My boys have fond memories of him too. He will be in our
hearts forever.
