I remember Ben when we used to work together at Carson Products. He was a good worker and always had a smie on his face saying something funny. He is with the LORD now but he will always be missed here on earth. My condolences to his family and especially to his brother Jerry who I went to school with and was a bandmate at Savannah High. May GOD bless you all.
Sincerely,

My heart goes out to the Miller family. I talked with Ben about a moth and a half ago. He was truley being led by GOD. He talked about his being an Armor Bearer at his Church & how He sought to be more faithful to GOD in his duties. He was a hard working person. I often would run into him at BASF where I would go to do contract work. I will truley miss him, but I am confident that He has made his calling and election sure. GOD bless you all. If I can be of any help please call me at 912-844-6411

To the Miller family,

My greatest condolences to your family on the homegoing for my Brother Ben. When I got news of his passing on last night, I was shocked. Ben and I worked at Carson/L'Oreal together for 8 years. Many times I would work on his computers, and the last time I spoke to him was when he came by my home to pick up his laptop that I worked on this past August. We always talked about the goodness of God! I know him by the Spirit, that he is with Jesus. He was truly born-again with a personal relationship with Jesus. I will sadly miss my brother here on this earth but I am encouraged that I will spend eternity with him in heaven. Be encouraged to continue living for the Lord and you can rest assured that you will see Ben again.

Dear Sam,
I was deeply saddened to hear about the loss of your beloved Ben. I know this is a difficult time for you and your family, but keep your faith strong and continue to trust in God and you will be made anew. I didn't know Ben personally. But what I picked up on from fragments of conversations from you and others who spoke about him in my presence, he was a remarkable husband, father, and friend.

To Sam, Quintasha, Quinyawna & My Entire Family:

Ben was full of so much joy and laughter. I can recall my last conversation with him on last Wednesday. We talked about so many great things and we also shared our love for God. My last time seeing him was on Thursday he was so happy. I would call him "Mom, Dad, Deac and PaPa." He was truly all of these names.

Ben displayed the true example of a Godly man, husband and father;to know him was to love him. Sam, you are able to cherish precious and sweet memories of Ben. I thank God for his legacy and life. May God continue to grant you peace in the days ahead.

Love & Blessings,

Quhannah, Dedra, Tatyanna, and Ariyanna Andrews

To my other family that God has blessed me with first of all i love you all and i would'nt forget about sandy also.I thank God for giving me the opppurtunity to have come in contact with such great people and uncle ben as i called him will be truly missed.Uncle Ben was what i would called a Model of what a real man should be.Its amazing how God can change a persons life to impact others and yes God begin a good work in dec or uncle ben and he has completed it only so that those of us who are still here can realize that change is still avaliable to us who want it.I believe that this is a mark in history because a GREAT MAN who was loved by many has taken his place in the kingdom of greatness where he belongs. love you all

Dear Sam and girls, Know that God gave you a special gift in Ben and his gentle manner and smiling face will definitely be missed from Grace. We grieve with you for your loss and also rejoice with you for we know Ben loved the Lord and is in a better place. "For we walk by faith and not by sight. We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord". As you walk this difficult road we pray that the memories of your life together and your faith in God will carry you through. We pray your strength in the Lord. Just rest assured that "Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can not heal". God Bless and strengthen you all.

Sam and the girls, May the grace of God keep you during your hour of bereavement. I worked with Ben at Carson/Loreal. I am praying your strength in the Lord. The last time I saw Ben he was smiling and telling me proudly “You know I’m a granddaddy now.” Typical of him, he loved his family and was not ashamed to show it. I will miss seeing him at all the Stallions games. If you didn’t know him you would think that he had a boy out on the field playing, but he didn’t he was the proud father of a cheerleader, a real man. I know the pain is immeasurable, but hold on to the precious memories that you have, and hold on to the fact that you will see that beautiful smile again. Vanassa & Zaniyah

September 6, 2007

To the family of Ben Miller. I was saddened deeply to hear about the untimely passing of Ben. I wish to express my condolescences to you all in your time of lost. Ben was a great man and a wonderful example of what a father should be. To his children, continue to flourish into smart beautiful young people. Remember to take with you the values and morals that Ben and your mother continue to bestow upon you. Life is a journey and we all go down that road of adversity and tragedy. How we respond to these challenges determines our character and our belief in God. Remember his word is the final word and we do not question it only accept it, and live by it. To his loving wife, Mrs. Samatha Miller, I can tell you that your choice for a soul mate was an excellent one. There were no surprises with Ben. He was as he appeared to be, a quiet, humble, and spiritual person who loved and cherished his family. I did not have the opportunity to be in Ben's presence a lot over the pass years, but when I did run into him, it was alawys a pleasure to see and speak with him again. In this time of lost, the best thing that will come out of it is that at least he is with his Savior, and he can now rest peacefully without disturbance. May God continue to forever bless you and your family. I leave you with this scripture. (Psalms 121) "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills from whence cometh my help, My help, cometh from the Lord which heaven and earth".

I Corinthians 15:55,57-58
O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethern, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abouding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. Sam, Ben's labor was not in vain. I sit here with a heavy heart. I just got word tonight of your lost and both Shawn and I are at a lost for words. I have known you from years of singing and Shawn used to work with Ben at Carson Products. I don't know if I know anyone as humble and sincere as Ben. We share your lost with you and just know that we are lifting you and your entire family up in prayer. I can only imagine what you are going through but just know that God is there walking beside you and when you feel like you can't make it my sister, he will carry you. Hold on to Gods unchanging, unfailing hand. If you need anything please don't hesitate to call me. Remember, to be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord. We love you.

Sam,Children and the entire family,

Sam to be honest what do you say for such a sudden and great loss? and how do you strive to make it through the days ahead? because of our long time friendship, I know how strong you are and now that God is the center of our lives we have unspeakable joy and sweet peace even in the time of sorrow. Ben was such a wonderful person with a quiet spirit who loved his family, life and God. Jerome and I want you to know that we are lifting you and the entire family up in prayer. If there is anything that you need us to do, please let us know. God is a sustainer and a present help in the time of need.

Love,

Juanita Ervin

Samantha, I did not have a chance to meet you and Ben. Just from speaking with him on the phone I could tell he was a very nice person. He offered advice and encouragement based on the Word of God and for that I will always be thankful for knowing him. Even though I did not meet him face to face I do know Ben left behind a legacy of love for you and your family to carry on. Please know that he touched the lives of people many miles from Savannah. He will be miss.
May the peace of God and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ continue to keep you and your family forever more.
Your Sister in Christ, Juanita

Who are we to question God? His ways are above our ways; his thoughts are above our thoughts. Samantha, today I grieve with you and celebrate the life of your husband as well. I recall the times I shared with Ben at Carson Products and the joy and laughter he brought to the plant. As a matter of fact, as I type this; I just saw his unique smile and I know that he's resting safely in the arms of Jesus.
"He knows how heavy the load may be; come to me, for this is only a test. Though it may seem unfair; God knows and he cares. Don't ask how; just accept what God allows"

Friends until the end! Quintasha, God daddy love you and Quinyana. My wife and I are there for you all if you need us.

To The Miller Family;
It saddens my heart to know that Ben has left from our presence, but not from our hearts. Ben and I met 20 years ago and he truly changed my life. He was there for me during my transition from college to the workforce, encouraging and enlightening me to the challenges of life. I will always remember his gentle nature and kind spirit. Know that you are in my prayers as you go through this time of bereavement.
Peace and Blessings

To Sam and The Miller Family:

I would just like to say it has been a pleasure being your friend for over 16 years--I LOVE YOU! Sam, the jorney into God's presence requires a departure and that bings sorrow for us. But what JOY to think of Ben's arrival into the very arms of the LORD Jesus Christ. I pray God grants you the strength and comfort you need through this difficult time. My prayers are with you. I will leave you with this scripture.

"The unfailing love of the LORD never ends! By his mercies we have been kept from complete destruction. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each day. I say to myself, 'The LORD is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!' The LORD is wonderfully good to those who wait for him and seek him. So it is good to wait quietly for salvation from the LORD. For the Lord does not abandon anyone forever. Though he brings grief, he also shows compassion according to the greatness of his unfailing love."
Lamentations 3:22-26; 31-32 (NLT)

GOD found the BEST MAN he could find to sit at his right hand, since the name Benjamin means "my right hand" Revelation 5:1 "Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals." We all will miss him, but we can best believe he is one in the 144,000-Revelation 7:4 " Then I heard the number of those who were sealed:144,000 from all the tribes of Israel, African-Americans are true descendants of the tribe of HAM. RIP my friend

Mrs. Sam and Quinyawna,
I am so sorry about the loss of your husband. Everytime he came to practice with Quniyawna he had a smile on his face. I will keep you, Quinyawna, Tasha and Sandy in my prayers. May God continue to bless all of you.

Sam,
"Weeping may endureth for the night but joy cometh in the morning". I would like to extend my deepest condolences to you and your family. Ben is going to be greatly missed around the Carver Heights Stallions Cheerleaders practices and games. I gave him the nickname "Daddy-Mama" because he was ALWAYS there with Quinyawna and he did care that most of the time he was the only male there, that lets one know that his daughter's happiest was his MAIN CONCERN! Again "Daddy-Mama" will be greatly missed but I will forever cherish the memories I have of him. He was a good husband, daddy, brother and a true, dedicated, supportive parent to the Carver Heights Stallions Cheerleading Squad.
