Blair,

I am so sorry to hear of your father´s passing. Before I moved away from Savannah, he would stop in to see me from time to time when he was downtown. Don, Jan and Bonny all played such an instrumental part in my development and pursuit of a career as a legal assistant. I am forever grateful for all of the knowledge and wisdom they poured into me while working for them for 8 years.

I'm sad to hear of Don's passing. Blair and I were childhood friends, and when I was ten and facing major surgery, both Don and Blair came to visit me in the hospital. Don was a great comfort to me during a particularly scary and painful procedure that just happened to be taking place when they arrived. He held my hand through the entire procedure, and I knew everything would be okay. Although I haven't seen Don in well over thirty years, I've never forgotten the comfort he gave me during that time. He was a really great person, and I'll miss him. My prayers are with Blair and his family.

Dear Kathleen and Family,

Don was generous with his good counsel as our attorney and we had so much fun skiing the slopes with Don and Blaire in the Savannah Ski Club days.

I know you will miss him.

All my sympathy to you,
Pat Shows
