Had the honor of being with him in Normandy for the 75th celebration, and later he gave us a tour of the Mighty Eighth Museum.
Thanks for his service to our country.

I met Paul and Nancy on the National WWII Museum trip for the 75th Anniversary of D-Day. We were on the same bus many times and I would record on my phone all the interviews that were being filmed on him. He and I bonded and his ability to remember the war and details like it was yesterday were just amazing. He loved to sing and he gave me one of his CD’s. I shared some of these videos with the Mighty 8th Museum that Paul talked about so fondly. He wanted me to visit - but due to other projects I was unable. He was warm, funny and such a joy to know in my short period of meeting him. He told so many great stories and talked a lot about his step-son that he loved so greatly. Nancy- I am so sorry for your loss and the country’s loss for a great man. Fondly, Cherry Whitley, Houston, TX

Paul. You now wear wings on your back along with the ones on your left breast. We hope you sing "White Cliffs of Dover" many times over to all your friends in Heaven. We miss you dearly. Bill North
