Not sure what to say?

I am probably among the few that remember Dot and Stu as college students. I'll always remember Stu and I sneaking into the lab with all the shades pulled down to work on our cat in Comparative Anatomy. Through his lifetime Stu was always such a nice person.

Dr. Wallace's son Mark and I were in Boy Scouts together. This was Troop 28 and our home was Memorial Day School. Mark's parents probably arranged this for us. Our leaders were Pat Little, Frank Carter, Allman Jiles (sp) and Cam King. A lot of other Moms and Dads contributed greatly to the success of Troop 28. Mark was one of 7 Eagle Scouts in our troop, a milestone in its day. My brother Sandy was also an Eagle Scout and the two of them plus the other 5 kept us younger scouts entertained on camping trips and summer sessions at Camp Strachan in Savannah. Mark was a wonderful cook and concierge on those trips - while I was washing down Little Debbie cakes with extra strong Tang, Mark prepared ribeye steaks with vegetable medley. It was amazing what he could do without electricity! Mark, you inspired me to put forth my best effort, and, like Pat Little instructed, you "left a place better than you found it."
