Michael Allen Jaeger

1947 - 2023

Age 75, of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, passed away on February 9, 2023 at his residence after numerous years of several medical conditions. He fought a valiant battle and was mostly always upbeat. He was born on November 2, 1947 in Clintonville, Wisconsin. He spent his youngest years in Millington, Tennessee and in the Miami area of Florida. After that he lived for a couple years in San Mateo, Ca. and then in 1960, with his family, moved to Upland, Ca. where he was a 1966 graduate of Upland High School. After high school he was a warrant officer and helicopter pilot for the Army and flew missions in Vietnam 1967-1970. After his Army service he went back to school and got his BS at Chaffey Jr. College and also got his commercial pilot's license. Once again in 1974 he reenlisted in the armed services with the Navy where he specialized in electronics mechanics. He had a honorable medical discharge from the Navy in 1978. He was preceded in death by his parents Bill & Emily Jaeger. He is survived by his daughter, Teri Lynn Hanson of Jacksonville, FL; his sons, Michael Anthony Jaeger of Westminster, MD and James Leslie Jaeger of Oak Hill, FL. He is also survived by 4 grand & 4 great-grandchildren; his sisters, Cheri Potechin of La Quinta, Ca and Kathy Kennedy of Wake Village, TX and his brother, Roger Jaeger of Temecula, Ca. He loved spending his time hiking in our local mountains & deserts. Michael was a loving & generous soul and he will be greatly missed by his family & friends and will be forever in our hearts.
