Norman Anderson Obituary

November 30, 1926 ~ March 13, 2016
Norman Harold (Andy) Anderson passed away on March 13, 2016 with family at his side. He was born in Merrill, Wisconsin on November 30, 1926. He was a Merchant Marine and a member of the Operating Engineers for 64 years. He and Adelia Doak Anderson (1931-1987) had 5 children, Betty Smith, Joyce Smith, Crystal Anderson, Andrew Anderson and Sandra Rehm. He married Patsy in 1988 and embraced her 4 adult children, Michael Fryman, Steven Fryman, Pamela Fryman and Barry Fryman. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. He was a loving family man and a great friend to many. A viewing at 10 a.m. and a memorial service at 11 a.m. will be held at Grace Baptist Church Fellowship, 9969 11th Avenue, Hesperia on March 19. Burial will be at San Jacinto Cemetery on Monday at 11 a.m.

When Andy married our mother he accepted the entire Fryman family as his own and loved us all. Later in life as time passed our children and our kids children also became part of the Andy Anderson family He was always such a great loving giving and wonderful man to all of us and for that we will always love him and keep him our hearts forever. What a great man, and such a loss for his family. I have known him as long as I have known Crystal since we were in Jr. High in Fontana. He was always the warmest and kindest man ever. My Dad wasn't which made it so much more obvious how wonderful he was. Much love and prayer to all his family.

Andy, was a special DAD to me! He loved my mother Pat over the moon! He is one of a KIND!! We all loved him so very much! Andy's, one liners will be missed along with his smile and laughter. I am so proud to be part of his family and able to call him DAD! I thank him for all the advise and love he give to me over the years! You will be missed by many!!
