I´m so heartbroken to find this page regarding Paul Baylink who was 22 years old when I met him and he was my manager the Sporting Goods store we worked at.
I was 16 years old at the time and Paul was super kind and protective of me being that I was one of only two high school students that worked there.
He always made the guys watch their language when I was around and on nights when we closed the store together, he would wait with me outside until by dad came to pick me up.
I was trying to search for him online after all these years because I wanted to thank him that he was the ONLY one who was in my face about the guy I started dating after the senior prom. Paul kept trying to convince me not to date that guy but of course I did and now I wanted to tell him that he was right and thank him because he genuinely cared for me back then. I could only wish that others would have taken the time to also voice their concerns but they didn´t, Paul was the only one.
It appears that Paul has been gone for over ten years but I have no doubt that many, many people who knew him still feel his loss deeply because in the short time that I crossed paths with him, I am grateful for having had the privilege to experience such a wonderful person.
I´m so, so sorry but I trust that you are filling heaven now with that beautiful hearty laugh of yours!
