Salvador Acevedo Obituary

Salvador Acevedo, Sr. Brother, Father, & Grandfather passed away at his home in Rialto, CA on Dec 6 after a long battle with cancer. He was 83 yrs. Old. He was a lifelong resident of the Inland Empire and a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. He will finally be together again with his beloved Helen. His golden voice is forever silenced, but his song will be forever in our hearts and minds.

He is survived by his 7 children, Salvador Acevedo, Jr., Barney Acevedo, Kathy Acevedo, Susan Acevedo-Mendoza, Cindy Schroeder, Lori Acevedo, and Randy Acevedo.

He is also survived by his sisters, Virginia, Emma, Noni, Julie, and his brothers, Charlie and Gabriel. He also leaves behind 23 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Mon. Dec 22 from 9am to 10am at Mt. View Mortuary & Cemetery, 570 E. Highland Ave., San Bernardino CA 92404 followed by the memorial service from 10am to 12pm. Final resting will be Tues. Dec 23 at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., March Air Reserve Base CA 92518, promptly at 1:45pm
