June 6, 1952 - December 23, 2018 SANDRA (SANDY) BOYD, 66 Sandra Marie Boyd, aged 66, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2018, after a brief struggle with cancer. She was born to the late Angel Jimenez and Sarah Estrada on June 6, 1952. She was raised in San Bernardino, California. She was a graduate of Pacific High School with a Bachelors degree from the San Bernardino Valley College and a Masters degree from the University of Redlands. Sandy worked as a Registered Nurse for over 30 years, for Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, CA; and Kaiser Permanente in the California cities of Fontana, Harbor City and Irvine. Her natural gift was always serving people which was exemplified through mentoring and being preceptor to many nurses, sharing the wisdom and experience that she gained over the years. Sandy was an amazing daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend. She loved sewing, cooking, baking, dancing, watching girly movies, listening to music (especially salsa), she loved the Art Deco era, and loved to travel. Also, she loved to spend time watching the sunset at the beach with her significant other Mike. She is survived by her two children, Joshua and Solange; four grandchildren, Quianna, Zainya, Ava and Jake; four siblings, Rosa, Teresa, Ramiro and Kathy; and a number of other loving relatives and close friends. Sandy's Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 on Friday, January 25, 2019, at the Rock Church and World Outreach Center on 2345 S. Waterman Ave, San Bernardino, CA. A private scattering service for immediate family members will be held at Terrenea Resort on Saturday, January 26, 2019.
