Theresa & I reconnected after decades & she joined me here in Arizona only ten months ago. We did a lot not knowing we only had a short span of time to get it all in. My family became her family & we looked out for each other. We did road trips, spent all holidays together, went out dancing & listening to music, frequented our favorite restaurants & enjoyed our daily lives the best we could.
Theresa had the biggest heart ever & was always giving & sharing with others.
We both were looking forward to our 50th class reunion & trip to Jamaica but God had better plans for her.
You took flight with the angels, my friend. Rest in Heaven & Ill see you later

There's so much I want to say about Ms. Theresa Gaskin. I met her 5 years ago during a training class at United Healthcare. We were both the first two people who arrived early. I just had to sit next to her. It was just something about her. I asked if she was a Christian, because she just glowed. She turned around and in that Ms.T tone she said "yes". It was almost like she was singing yes. Lol. I said "so am I". I told her that I knew she was a Christian because she was wearing it! She then told me that her church was right up the street, and I said "so is mines". We both said Cottonwood at the same time and just laughed and hugged. We were glued to the hip every since. I can honestly say that I've never met anyone so beautiful and kind, without a hidden agenda. She was more than my coworker; she was my family. My kids were her kids, and my grandbaby (cupcake) was her grandbaby. I know everyone she came into contact with probably has a similar story, but I loved her to death. I wasn't ready for this. I wished I had more time. I thought I loved her to death, but when she left, I realized I loved her far more than that. It's so difficult to find people who are really true in this day and age, Ms. T was definitely one of them. She was one of a kind. I would give anything to hear her laugh again, and call me Jacqueline. Rest in peace beautiful lady. We will see each other again.

A truly loving and caring person. Never a foul word from her mouth. Amazing how we all remember and delight in each other after 50 years of high school. I had the pleasure to talk to her twice early this year. She expressed high interest in attending her Ganesha reunion this year. We lived on the same street through Ganesha. I always though so highly of her because she always though so highly of me. When we would see each other after our Ganesha years, she would always ask me if I could mentor her brother Tony when ever I would see him. Oh Lord we looked so forward to seeing each other but I have to be grateful that she is now home with you.
