Fremont Lash Obituary
Born in Minersville, Sept. 29, 1944, he was a son of the late Walter Charles and Thelma Mae Trout Lash.
Monty was a graduate of Minersville High School and then worked as a truck driver.
He was an avid gun collector who loved attending gun shows.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 25 years and Derrick's mom, Mary Bartlett Lash.
Monty is survived by his wife of nine years, Regina Olson Lash, Lavelle; son, Charles Emerson Lash; son, Monty Lee Lash Sr. and his wife, Sherry, Indiana; daughter, Holly Mae Lash Tassone, Schuylkill Haven; son, Derrick Emery Lash, Lavelle; 10 grandchildren, Charlie, Jessica, Nicholas, Michael, Matthew, Meagan, Madison, Monty Jr., Andrew and Tyler; six great-grandchildren; his six cats, that he loved taking care of.
Services and interment will be private at the convenience of family.
