Rhonda Josephine Muthersbaugh, 45, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Monday, Nov. 13, at Geisinger St. Luke's Hospital, near Orwigsburg, surrounded by her loving family.
Born Jan. 11, 1978, in Pottsville, she was a daughter of Gary L. and Donna Susan (Fegley) Moyer, of Cressona.
She married her loving husband, Craig A. Muthersbaugh, on April 26, 1997.
Rhonda was a 1996 graduate of Blue Mountain High School.
She was a member of Bethesda Evangelical Congregational Church of Reedsville.
Rhonda had worked at Hamburg Center as a nurse's aide for more than 20 years and was currently employed by C.A.R.E.S., Tamaqua, for the last six years.
She delighted in opportunities to volunteer with the local food pantry, Meals on Wheels, and Hillside SPCA. Rhonda loved visiting the casino, bingo and amusement parks. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Disney World; and she loved spending time with her family.
Rhonda was preceded in death by grandparents, Betty and Joe Fegley and David and Mary Moyer; in-laws, George and Noreen Muthersbaugh; and niece, Jolene Faith Moyer.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by two daughters, Kali Rose Muthersbaugh, of Lancaster, and Amy Nicole Muthersbaugh, of Schuylkill Haven; her brother, Jason Moyer, of York; aunts, including her godmother, Nancy Wilcosky; uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Home, Cressona. A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Cressona Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Rhonda's name may be made to Lockbox National Scleroderma Foundation, P.O. Box 411533, Boston, MA 02241, or American Heart Association, P.O. Sue,Gary,Craig, Kali, &Amy ~ I am so sorry for the loss of Rhonda. She was my best friend of 35 years and as hard as this is for me, I know it so much harder for all of you. I pray you all find comfort in the wonderful memories that Rhonda gave you. She was the kindest person I ever knew and will be my best friend forever
