Susan "Sue" Brass, 62, of Aristes, passed into the arms of our Heavenly Father surrounded by her loving family Monday, Jan. 3, 2022, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born Dec. 14, 1959, in Ashland, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Catherine (Boyer) Knorr, of Ashland.
In recent years, Susan had been a homemaker.
But she was previously employed in the field of private duty nursing and had been employed at the former Rest Haven Nursing Home.
Susan enjoyed arts and crafts, attending car shows with her husband, Rick, and spending quality time with her family. She was an avid baker, producing elaborate cakes for various occasions. Susan truly loved cooking and enjoyed hosting holiday gatherings for her family. She also loved the outdoors and hunting. Family trips to the beach were a favorite way to spend vacations. Susan was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who always put everyone's needs before her own and often filled her day with random acts of kindness for family and strangers alike. She was a bright spark in this world and a kind, gentle soul, who will be deeply missed by many.
