Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at St. Mary's Cathedral (Upper Church) in St. Cloud for Ellen E. Voigt, age 90, of St. Cloud, who passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Assumption Home in Cold Spring. Reverend Anthony Oelrich will officiate. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery in St. Cloud.

 Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday and after 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud. Parish prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home in St. Cloud.

 Ellen was born October 26, 1926 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Joseph and Ellen (Barlow) Primus. She married Jerome H. Voigt on September 15, 1949 at St. Mary's Cathedral in St. Cloud. Ellen worked as a registered nurse at the St. Cloud Hospital for 40 years.  She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral and Christian Women.

 She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading, cross word puzzles, bowling, and the Minnesota Twins. Ellen especially loved all the time spent with her family.

 She is survived by her children, Mark (Diane) of Clear Lake, Margaret of Elk River, Paul (Sandy) of St. Augusta, Rose (Peter) Fritz of St. Augusta, Peter of Avon, and Tim (Cheryl) of St. Augusta; 14 grandchildren; and 29 great grandchildren; sisters and brother, Alice Hahn, Leona Roden, and John Primus.

 She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Jerome in 2012; brothers, Jerome, Robert, Clarence, Edward and Charles Primus; sisters, Theresia Meier, Evelyn Lindmeier, Sr. Idamarie Primus, Frances Smoot, Anna Proell, and infant sister, Emily Primus; daughters-in-law, Jan and Karen.
