He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing golf, thoroughly enjoyed flying as he was a pilot, and loved boating, having a boat for many years on Lake Erie. A self-taught musician, Cliff loved to play the violin and ukulele, to sing and also enjoyed teaching others how to play as well. Cliff absolutely adored his grandchildren and, besides his wife, Laura, his greatest love was his precious dog, Bo.
